<\/p><\/p> The University's Deanship of Information Technology has obtained international accreditation certificates (ISO) for three systems: IT Service Management, Information Security Management, and Business Continuity Management, for the second consecutive time. This achievement follows the completion of internal and external audits in the deanship's departments and units by the certifying body. Obtaining international accreditation certificates multiple times is a culmination of the Deanship of Information Technology's continuous efforts in providing the most prominent technical services and solutions at the university.
This achievement comes in light of the attention and awareness of the deanship's leaders and staff regarding the importance of achieving quality and obtaining international and local accreditations, and as an affirmation of the deanship's role in raising the university's name to the ranks of global and local universities, with the support and follow-up of His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University.<\/p>
ISO 20000 IT Service Management is an international standard for the quality of IT service management. This area is one of the focus areas in strategic plans for improving the performance of services provided to beneficiaries and raising the level of IT to satisfy users. ISO 27001 Information Security Management is a fundamental international standard for how to establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve an accredited information security management system. This allows for the secure maintenance of sensitive and confidential data, reducing the likelihood of illegal or unauthorized access. It also allows for the management of security risks, information recovery, and reduction of security breaches.<\/p>
The ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management system is an international standard that enables organizations to identify the necessary methods to ensure business continuity by developing proactive plans and responses, and leveraging and implementing additional resources to help organizations avoid crises and disasters before they occur and recover quickly from them if they do.<\/p>
