His Excellency addressed them, saying: \"You rose to the level of trust and responsibility, performed your work with sincerity and dedication, worked with diligence and perseverance, and did your utmost to ensure the continuity of the educational journey without interruption. Together, we overcame all difficult circumstances in response to our trust and to achieve the state's plans in dealing with the pandemic with awareness and competence, instilling in male and female students love for the homeland, pride in it, and loyalty to its wise leadership, may God support them. Therefore, I offer you my most sincere and complete thanks.\".&nbsp;<p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>This came during the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, on Tuesday, 2\/28\/1443 AH, for the Teacher's Forum, which is organized by Qassim University remotely and will last for two days, under the title \"Our Knowledge.\" His Excellency expressed his appreciation for the role of male and female teachers, saying: It is my pleasure to participate with you in this forum that celebrates teachers on their world day under the slogan \"The Teacher: The Beating Heart of Education,\" which carries meanings of loyalty and appreciation for my male and female colleagues, teachers who have dedicated their efforts to building and developing the capabilities of the sons and daughters of this nation.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>He added: I am taking this occasion on World Teachers' Day to extend my greetings and appreciation to male and female teachers. I tell them that in our dear homeland, we remember your noble mission and your great efforts in the pursuit of knowledge, learning, and progress, and in contributing to the development of society under wise leadership that has spared no effort to place the Kingdom, as an entity and as individuals, at the forefront with developed countries, to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which charts a bright future for our dear Kingdom.&nbsp;<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>The esteemed Minister of Education affirmed that the indicators of this forum's importance stem from its review of topics addressing educational developments, in addition to enriching male and female teachers with academic, professional, and scientific competencies, and providing researchers and postgraduate students with the opportunity to present their research and scientific ideas that highlight the teacher's role in society. He pointed out that such forums will contribute to creating a scientific space enabling professors and academic departments to effectively discuss emerging scientific issues, reflecting the great interest and attention that the government of His Servant of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God protect him, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God protect him, gives to the education sector, which is one of the most important sectors contributing to building creative and productive individuals.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>His Excellency urged male and female students to express gratitude and appreciation to male and female teachers, to adhere to the values of loyalty and respect towards them, and to value their efforts for their sake. However, our wise government, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, may God protect them both, drew precise plans to overcome them and succeeded, praise be to God, in implementing them. Among those who faced these challenges were male and female teachers, as they proved their commitment to maintaining the continuity of the educational process despite all difficulties. Through their efforts, teachers were able to outline a new characteristic of the future of education in our country and contribute to forming a successful and influential educational environment. This was made possible through the resources and equipment provided by the Ministry, which had a clear impact on the successful progress of the educational process as planned.\".<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>\"Al-Dawood\" explained that the university recognized the significant role teachers play in serving science and knowledge, and the magnitude of the challenges they face, especially in light of this pandemic. Therefore, it took the initiative to honor them on their day as a token of appreciation and recognition of their status and noble mission. We recall what teachers have given us in the past and what they are giving our children today. This is to send them a message of thanks and appreciation and to collectively contribute to overcoming the challenges they face so they can practice their noble profession with ease and comfort.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>His Excellency the President of the University stated that Qassim University, as it celebrates teachers today, encourages the exchange of academic, professional, and scientific expertise among all elements of the educational system. The university will launch a number of workshops that will provide a wide scope for participants and guests to contribute their opinions and experiences. A virtual scientific exhibition will also be held, showcasing the latest scientific research in the field of teaching and learning. He thanked the participants, both male and female, and those responsible for organizing this forum for their efforts, especially the Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs, the College of Education, the Deanship of Information Technology, and the General Administration of Media and Communication. He asked God Almighty for success for everyone, to protect our country and our leaders, and to grant us lasting health and security.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>The \"Our Knowledge\" forum, held over two days, presents a series of workshops offered by the academic departments of the College of Education on topics related to the role of the teacher during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
