His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, sponsored the \"Wa'i\" campaign to raise awareness of the dangers of drugs. The campaign included an exhibition organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs at the university for three days in the main foyer of the University City. Ten booths from within and outside the university participated. The exhibition was opened in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Al-Sharikh, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and a number of university leaders and faculty members.
His Excellency the University President toured the pavilions participating in the exhibition, which included: the Poison Control Center of the General Directorate of Health Affairs in Qassim, a pavilion for the General Directorate of Narcotics Control in Qassim, a pavilion dedicated to the Saudi Charitable Society for the Prevention of Poisoning \"Sumou\", in addition to the participation of 36 student clubs.<\/p>
The \"Wa'i\" drug awareness campaign tracks also included an exhibition at the Western Academic Complex, and an exhibition at the Southern Academic Complex, in addition to a number of lectures, as well as the \"Irshudni\" program, competitions, sports, free drawing, and 16 drawings by university students.<\/p><\/p>
