His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, visited today, Thursday, 10\/6\/1443 AH, the pavilion of Qassim University at the Buraydah Spring Festival, which is supervised by the Deanship of Community Service. Several university colleges are participating to provide community, health, and awareness services to festival visitors. His Highness expressed his thanks and appreciation to the university for the efforts of its staff in serving the community.

During his visit, His Highness the Prince of Al-Qassim toured the university's pavilion, which was established to activate His Highness's initiative \"I am Saudi, I am proud of my identity,\" with its three tracks (Language of the Nation, Heritage of the Nation, and Values of the Nation). His Highness also viewed the exhibition of His Majesty the Founding King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud \u2013 may God have mercy on him \u2013 which contains approximately 30 panels recounting his upbringing, achievements, and the stages of the founding of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.<\/p>

His Highness the Emir of the region listened to an explanation from the Dean of the Deanship, Professor Dr. Fahd bin Ibrahim Al-Dala', regarding the university's events and activities at the festival, which include many booths. Among these is the Oral and Dental Health Booth, where the College of Dentistry offers medical examinations and consultations, and educates visitors on the importance of maintaining oral and dental health.<\/p>

The College of Applied Medical Sciences is participating in the festival's health corner by providing vision screening services to visitors through the Optometry Department. The university's booth also offers biometric measurements and screenings for diabetes, osteoporosis, and body mass index through the Medical Laboratories Department. Additionally, the University Medical City is participating by providing medical consultations and initial examinations. The Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition at the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine is also participating with awareness activities for visitors, as well as the Physical Education Department from the College of Education.<\/p>

His Highness was briefed on the productive families, crafts, and handmade professions pavilion, which is being held as part of the \"Homeland Heritage\" track and has attracted a large turnout from visitors. Additionally, he reviewed the \"Homeland Language\" track, through which the Deanship implemented a course titled \"Foundations of Successful Dialogue,\" with the attendance of over 50 male and female beneficiaries. He also learned about the \"Homeland Values\" track, which features a number of national competitions that are witnessing significant attendance and participation from society members. Immediate prizes are awarded to the winners. Furthermore, there is a dedicated pavilion for a national drawing competition for children, aimed at fostering national spirit and belonging among children and youth.<\/p><\/p>
