The Qassim University summer club's activities have commenced for the fifth consecutive year within the university's sports halls. The club's activities and events will continue for over 30 days under the supervision of the Deanship of Student Affairs at the university, aiming to leverage the summer vacation and students' free time to develop their cultural, sports, scientific, and other talents and skills. This initiative is an extension of the university's efforts to contribute to achieving the goals and objectives of the Human Capability Development Program by presenting the summer club in its new form during the summer vacation.
<\/p>
The club's activities this year include a number of in-person and virtual programs, targeting age groups from the first grade of elementary school up to university students. Participants have been divided into four categories: elementary (boys and girls), middle school (youth), high school, and university (young adults). Registration is still open for those interested in participating in these activities and competitions from the local community.<\/p>
<\/p>
The university summer club offers various activities in several diverse fields, including sports which include competitions (football, futsal, bowling, swimming, fitness center, water park, table tennis, tennis, billiards, and hockey). The cultural aspect also includes several competitions and development courses, most notably English, French, and Japanese language courses, and learning robot design and programming, which aim to develop capabilities and enhance the basic and future skills of the beneficiaries.<\/p>

The club's programs also include various competitions and contests for memorizing the Holy Quran and the Prophet's Sunnah, in addition to virtual programs and courses, a haven for poetry and drawing in all its forms, and the development of national heritage.<\/p>
<\/p>
For his part, Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Mohammed Al-Ajlan said that the club's programs include many new cultural, social, sports, skills-based, and educational events, as well as various visits inside and outside the university. He highlighted the university's societal role in activating the energies of all youth groups, including the supervisors who constitute over 90% of the club's staff, who are university students on the verge of graduation. He wished success to all those involved in these efforts.<\/p><\/p>
