{"id":11660,"date":"2022-11-03T05:45:04","date_gmt":"2022-11-03T02:45:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.qu.edu.sa\/blog\/uncategorized\/d_news-2837\/"},"modified":"2022-11-03T05:45:04","modified_gmt":"2022-11-03T02:45:04","slug":"d_news-2837","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.qu.edu.sa\/en\/d_news\/2837\/","title":{"rendered":"6 scientific sessions at the conference \"The Kingdom's Efforts in Confronting the Corona Pandemic\" at the University of Cairo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The sessions of the conference \"The Kingdom's Efforts in Confronting the Corona Pandemic: Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, the university held a number of scientific and research papers dealing with the great efforts made by the Kingdom in facing the Corona pandemic and studying them in an expanded scientific manner, with the participation of 19 keynote speakers and a number of non-keynote speakers from inside and outside the university, distributed over 6 scientific sessions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The first session dealt with the health axis, through several topics, including \"Medical and preventive services during the Corona pandemic,\" and the prevention methods in place to limit the spread of infection inside and outside health facilities, in addition to the topic of balancing medical services and coronavirus cases, while the second session discussed the axis of \"Education in light of the Corona pandemic: Challenges and Confrontation\", and the topics of this theme were: \"Education in the Kingdom during the Corona pandemic, as well as the role of the administration in the safe return to urban education for the secondary and intermediate stages during the pandemic, in addition to Qassim University facing the challenges of distance education with innovative strategies and digital development in light of the Corona pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The third session dealt with \"Technical and digital services for an easier life during the coronavirus pandemic,\" which included several topics, namely \"Cybersecurity challenges and its role in protecting digital services.\" The National Cybersecurity Authority has made great efforts to control cyber risks and attacks in conjunction with the coronavirus pandemic. The National Cybersecurity Authority has made great efforts to control cyber risks and attacks synchronized with the coronavirus pandemic, and the Authority also presented an honorable global model, publishing the Saudi model report to enhance cybersecurity resilience during the year of Saudi Arabia's presidency of the G20, and the model has become a comprehensive reference for countries that will chair the G20 in the coming years or that will host a major event, and a global model that provides ideas and lessons learned from the reality of application.<\/p>\n<p>The fourth session discussed the theme \"Efforts of Qassim University during the Corona pandemic\", and reviewed the most prominent efforts of the university during the pandemic in the field of scientific research, as the number of scientific researches during the pandemic reached 2136. The university also provided exceptional services to its international students through the Deanship of Student Affairs, and facilitated their travel and return to their countries, as well as cooperation with the concerned authorities to facilitate and overcome the difficulties they may face. The Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education also played a key role during the pandemic by transforming the educational process into a distance education system, providing the latest educational programs for its male and female students, as well as facilitating communication between faculty members and students through various educational platforms, most importantly Blackboard and Zoom, by obtaining the necessary licenses to maintain the quality of teaching and learning.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The fifth session dealt with \"Shari'ah and legal (organizational) developments to confront the coronavirus pandemic: Reality and Impact\", and dealt with the topics of organizational legal measures to confront the Corona pandemic, judicial principles issued by the Supreme Court in the Corona pandemic, as well as the Kingdom's efforts to confront the legal developments in the Corona pandemic, and the updated fads in the time of epidemics and the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in confronting them, while the sixth session dealt with the axis \"The contribution of the charitable sector and community awareness in facing the Corona pandemic\", and focused on topics: The international efforts of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center in confronting the Corona pandemic, the voluntary roles of charitable centers, associations and institutions in dealing with the Corona pandemic, in addition to community support for the state's efforts to address the effects of the Corona pandemic, the Towards a Happy Family Initiative, the Forum to Protect Families from Domestic Violence, the Community Support Initiative, the River of Giving Initiative, and the Windows of Hope
