Vision and Future\" program for new students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The university, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, launched today, Tuesday, 13 Safar 1445 AH, the \"Ambition... Vision and Future\" program for new students for the academic year 1445 AH. The program will last for three days, under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University. It includes accompanying exhibitions, distinguished lectures, student counseling, and a dialogue session. This was attended by His Excellency the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Fahad bin Suleiman Al-Ahmad, His Excellency the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharikh, and a number of university council members and new students in the main hall of the university city.<p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>For his part, His Excellency the President of the University welcomed the new students, expressing his happiness at the joining of thousands of new students to the university each year, and his hope that they will be keen to work diligently and benefit from the distinguished professors available at the university in all specializations, and the activities and programs that the university provides which will reflect on their final achievement, asking God Almighty that they achieve their ambitions and the ambitions of the wise leadership \u2013 may God protect them \u2013 for the nation's progress.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>Al-Daoud told the students: \"You are the hope of your homeland and its promising future. I advise you to be diligent and work hard, and to take advantage of what your university offers you. From the seats of study, you will achieve \u2013 God willing \u2013 your goals and aspirations, so that you can contribute to building and developing your homeland under its wise leadership \u2013 may God protect it.\".<\/p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p><p>His Excellency the President of the University pointed out that the Deanship of Student Affairs has introduced the student skills record, where all student activities held at the university will be documented. These activities will have an impact after graduation by providing them with employment opportunities. He affirmed that the university is proud of its achievements, the most important of which include renewed academic accreditation as the third university in the Kingdom, the distinguished points it has recorded in research and technology at the academic level, its inclusion in the Shanghai Ranking, and other achievements that have been realized thanks to Allah Almighty, then thanks to the unlimited efforts and support from our wise leadership \u2013 may Allah protect them \u2013 and from His Highness the Prince of the region, His Highness the Deputy Prince, and His Excellency the Minister of Education.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>The accompanying exhibitions for the event included 22 booths, among them: the Student Fund, Scholarships and International Student Affairs Department, Specialized Student Clubs, Central Student Clubs, Deanship of Student Affairs, Skills Register, Student Training and Development Unit, Talent and Innovation Unit, Student Guidance and Counseling Department, Martyrs' Children Service Office, Disabled Services Unit, Applied Colleges, Postgraduate Studies, Admissions and Registration, Student Activities Department, Health First for Tobacco Control, Building the Future for Drug Hazard Awareness, Digital Entrepreneurship Center, and a booth showcasing the university's achievements and technical services.<\/p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p><p>The dialogue session accompanying the program aimed to strengthen the bond among all members of the university community and provide guidance and support to new students through discussion and explanation of available educational and student services. It was attended by His Excellency the Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Fahd Al-Ahmad, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ajlan, the Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Abdulrahman Abu Al-Haj, and the Dean of Applied College, Dr. Khalid Al-Maiman. The session included an explanation of the university's educational and academic services, an overview of admission and registration processes and related procedures, the role of student affairs and student activities in enhancing the university experience, a review of the applied colleges' experience and professional certificates, and answers to students' questions.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>The three-day training program includes a number of lectures such as: Guidance insights for excellence in university study, university student services, student activities and their impact on the excellence of the university student, essential skills in e-learning, the skills record and its importance for the university student, volunteering and its impact on personality development, and the journey from idea to innovation.<\/p><\/p> <p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#1571;&#1591;&#1604;&#1602;&#1578;
