The first phase of this program includes the launch of 5 specializations, with studies commencing in the second semester of the current academic year 1445 AH. The university is among the first in the Kingdom to implement this initiative.<p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>This comes after the Council of University Affairs approved the implementation of the self-designed degree initiative, which includes three tracks: minor specialization, double major, and interdisciplinary. This is part of the human capacity development initiatives. These degrees are academic programs that allow students to voluntarily enroll in an additional academic specialization alongside their main specialization under specific terms and conditions.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>The five sub-specializations announced by the university for students during this semester include: Engineering Management at the College of Engineering, Data Analytics at the College of Science, in addition to the Finance and Accounting specializations at the College of Economics and Administration, and Infection Control at the College of Applied Medical Sciences. Applications opened on Sunday, January 14, 2024, according to the terms and conditions announced by the university.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>The university aims, by launching these specializations, to expand employment opportunities for university graduates, develop their professional skills in various fields, and increase their competitive capabilities, in addition to keeping pace with global trends towards interdisciplinary studies, as well as aligning educational outcomes with labor market needs.<\/p><div>&nbsp;<\/div><div>&nbsp;<\/div><div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.qu.edu.sa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/v1\/laravel-filemanager\/qu_2024\/IMG_4934.jpeg\" style=\"width:261px\"><\/div><div>&nbsp;<\/div><\/p> <p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#1571;&#1591;&#1604;&#1602;&#1578;
