The Clinical Simulation Center at the University Medical City has obtained two new accreditations from the American Heart Association, as part of the center's endeavor to improve healthcare standards and increase awareness of the importance of first aid and life-saving in the community.
The training and assessment program for life support and resuscitation course instructors received accreditation from the association, which includes two courses: \"Basic Life Support\" and \"Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support for Adults.\" Additionally, the center was accredited by the American Heart Association to conduct Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses, which contributes to enhancing the center's capabilities in offering diverse courses for all age groups.<\/p>
It is noted that the center has organized approximately 201 life support training courses since its opening in late 2022, including basic and advanced courses for adults and children. The total number of trainers at the center is 13 certified trainers, with a total of over 1000 training courses. This is in pursuit of enhancing emergency and healthcare skills in various fields, and the continued development and expansion of the center's training programs by the Medical City to meet the growing needs of the medical community.<\/p><\/p>
