His Highness the Governor of Al-Qassim Region congratulated the university\u2019s male and female graduates on this occasion, expressing his delight at sharing this joyous occasion with his students, whom he described as his children. He noted that they had eagerly anticipated this moment, as it marks the beginning of a new phase in their lives after having acquired knowledge at a university renowned for its academic and practical achievements at both the national and international levels. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to preserve the security and safety of this country under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman\u2014may Allah protect them\u2014toward further excellence and prosperity for our country in various fields, and to contribute to the realization of the blessed Saudi Vision 2030. The ceremony included the Royal Salute, a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the graduates\" procession, and a visual presentation of the university\u2019s achievements over the past year. For his part, His Excellency the University President, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharq, said in his speech delivered during the ceremony: \"It is a source of great joy and pleasure to gather under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Governor of Al-Qassim Region to celebrate the graduation of the university\u2019s 21st class of students.\" Al-Sharq added: \"Among the countless blessings God has bestowed upon us is that we live in a safe and stable homeland that fosters creativity, encourages knowledge, and paves the way for learning. and the graduating classes that universities take pride in each year are the best proof of this, under the guidance of wise leadership with a prudent outlook and an inspiring vision aimed at building and investing in people so they may succeed locally and compete globally. We praise and thank God Almighty for this, and His Highness the Prince\u2019s patronage and his sons\" participation in the joy of graduation are but a testament to this direction; to His Highness we extend our thanks and appreciation. Al-Sharq congratulated the male and female students on their graduation, congratulating them on their success after years of diligence and hard work, saying: \"You have reached your goal, fulfilled your aspirations, and achieved your objectives; all praise and thanks be to God. and I ask Him, the Exalted, to grant you success wherever you may be. I urge you to remain loyal to the university that has prepared you and to the professors who have taught you, for loyalty is a trait of the noble, and you are worthy of it. He advised them: \"Let your faith, your morals, and your knowledge make you the best representatives of this nation\u2014productive workers who contribute to the march of national renaissance and development.\u201d I cannot fail to take this opportunity to extend my warmest congratulations to the families and friends of the graduates, and I extend special congratulations to the esteemed parents, asking the Almighty to bless them with their sons and daughters, to guide them, and to grant them success in their lives. For his part, His Excellency the Dean of the Deanship of Admission and Registration, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Abu Al-Haj, explained that the total number of male and female graduates of the 21st class reached 10,309, including 3,194 male students and 6,198 female students across 121 bachelor\u2019s degree programs, and 34 diploma programs. The number of graduate students reached 267 doctoral graduates across 13 programs and 650 master\u2019s graduates across 99 programs. Abu Al-Haj emphasized that the graduates are the hope of this nation for a glorious future, stating: \u201cThere is no civilization without education, no education without security, no security without a homeland, no homeland without wise leadership, and no progress or development without its youth\u2014who are the nation\u2019s ambassadors, its children, and its pride.\u201d He prayed to God for success and guidance for them in their academic and professional futures. Then, students Mohammed Al-Mutawa and Rayan Al-Anzi delivered the graduates\u2019 speech on behalf of their peers at the ceremony, stating: \u201cThis is a day of joy and happiness, of ambition, hope, and promise. We stand before you on this joyous day, speaking for ourselves and on behalf of our fellow graduates, to express the depths of our feelings. Yesterday our story began, and today it reaches its conclusion. Between that beginning and this conclusion, there was toil and pain, and we stayed up while others slept. We chanted along the way. Today, after patience and struggle, after we waded through the waters, overcame the difficulties, and delved into the depths of science and knowledge, here we are\u2014we have arrived and achieved success. Praise be to God, first and last, and thanks to Him, both openly and in secret. In a gesture of compassion, His Highness the Prince of Al-Qassim Region, patron of the ceremony, presented the graduation robe to the family of student Saud bin Manahi Al-Shammari, who passed away before defending his dissertation in the PhD program in Literary Studies, after he had been awarded his graduation certificate.
