His Highness emphasized that had there not been a seasoned administrator with deep experience in dealing with everyone, the university would not have achieved these great accomplishments during his tenure as president. He added: “I cannot express all the feelings and prayers in my heart for Dr. Abdulrahman, for he is one of those men whose sincerity, dedication, and tireless work for the development of the university are rarely found. I pray to Allah the Almighty to grant him every good and bless him with health and well-being.” His Highness emphasized his confidence that these sentiments are shared by all university staff, expressing his gratitude, appreciation, and prayers that God may reward him for what he has done for the university. He also expressed his confidence in his brother and colleague, University President Dr. Mohammed Al-Sharq, and his great hope that the work accomplished will be continued. His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood then spoke during the ceremony honoring him, saying: For eight years, I have been honored by the trust placed in me by His Majesty the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz—may God protect them—in appointing me as President of Qassim University. The university has moved beyond its founding phase to a stage of excellence and competitiveness, both locally and globally, ranking third among universities in achieving institutional academic accreditation and in the number of locally and internationally accredited academic programs. It transformed the colleges of science and arts in the provinces into hubs benefiting all colleges across their various specialized fields, and developed its infrastructure for digital and technological transformation.
