The university and the General Authority for Statistics signed a memorandum of cooperation today, Wednesday, August 21, 2024, with the aim of strengthening the partnership between them in statistical, research, and training fields. The agreement was signed by His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharaikh, alongside His Excellency the President of the General Authority for Statistics, Dr. Fahad bin Abdullah Al-Dossary, in the presence of His Excellency the Vice President of the University for Business Development and Community Partnership, Dr. Majed bin Fadhi Al-Enezi, at the Authority's headquarters in Riyadh.
The memorandum of cooperation included several tracks, including cooperation in developing and supporting academic programs specializing in statistics, providing external review of study courses, enabling researchers to use interactive maps in estimating and analyzing statistical data, in addition to exchanging statistical data and indicators and conducting statistical surveys, along with providing lectures, seminars, and workshops in statistics and related fields. The agreement also included cooperation in the field of volunteer opportunities to serve the Qassim region, and providing cooperative and summer training opportunities for university students.

The memorandum comes as part of the university's efforts to achieve its strategic goals and play an influential and effective role in development work by building bridges of cooperation between it and government entities in various sectors, keeping pace with the development witnessed by the Kingdom in all fields. The university employs all its efforts for everything that would enhance the Kingdom's position, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.<\/p><\/p>
