His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharikh, and His Excellency the President of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, Dr. Waleed bin Mohammed Al-Saleh, witnessed on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, the signing of contracts for the implementation of evaluative studies for the accreditation of **17** academic programs at the university. This is part of the framework agreement for program accreditations for the university to accredit **92** academic programs. The agreement was signed by His Excellency the Executive Director of the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation, \u00abI'timad,\u00bb Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Bashamakh, and His Excellency the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Fahd bin Sulaiman Al-Ahmad. The signing was attended by the deans of the relevant colleges and representatives from the Deanship of Development and Quality, at the Commission's headquarters in Riyadh.
The programs that were contracted come from the College of Sharia with the following Bachelor's programs: Bachelor of Readings and Bachelor of Sharia, and Master of Systems, and the following Doctorate programs: Doctrine Program, Principles of Fiqh Program, and Sunnah and its Sciences Program. The College of Applied Medical Sciences offers the Bachelor of Optometry program and the Public Health program. The College of Pharmacy offers the Bachelor of Pharmacy program. The College of Computer Science offers several Bachelor's programs including: Bachelor of Computer Engineering, Information Technology Program, and Computer Science Program, and the following Master's programs: Computer Science Program, Cybersecurity Program, and Information Technology Program. The College of Arts and Design offers the Bachelor of Fashion Design program and the Master of Fashion Design program.<\/p>
The university is one of the universities that has obtained full institutional accreditation for the second time from the \u00abAccreditation\u00bb center of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission. The university also has 68 program accreditations, of which 53 are accredited by the Commission and 15 academic programs are internationally accredited.<\/p>
The university, in collaboration with the Authority, operates according to its mission and goals to contribute to raising the quality and efficiency of education and training to the highest global standards, which contributes to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the objectives of the Human Capability Development Program, including specific objectives for program accreditation of universities.<\/p><\/p>
