The University welcomes more than 12 thousand male and female graduates from the twenty-second batch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, sponsored today, Tuesday, February 18, 2025, the graduation ceremony for the 22nd batch of graduates expected to graduate from Al-Qassim University for the academic year 1446 AH, for diplomas, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. The ceremony was attended by the university president, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharaikh, university vice presidents, directors of government agencies in the region, and graduates and their families. The ceremony's program included the Royal Anthem, recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, a visual presentation of the university's achievements during the year, and a procession of graduates in the sports stadium at the university city.<p>His Highness congratulated the male and female graduates on their graduation, expressing his happiness to share this special occasion with the students, his children. He also prayed to Almighty God to perpetuate the security and stability of the nation under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman - may God protect them. He wished more progress and prosperity for this giving nation in various fields, pointing to the importance of investing in qualified national cadres, which are the cornerstone of achieving sustainable development and building a bright future for this dear nation.<\/p><p>His Highness indicated that Qassim University, with its distinguished academic capabilities and educational outcomes, contributes to strengthening the national development process and graduates promising generations of competencies that possess the knowledge and skills to keep pace with the aspirations of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.<\/p><p>His Highness urged the graduates to continue learning and developing, and to make every effort and persevere in contributing to the service of their homeland and society, so that they may be effective elements in various fields.<\/p><p>His Highness praised the efforts of Qassim University and its staff for their diligent work in advancing the educational system and providing students with the knowledge and skills that qualify them to face the future with confidence and competence.<\/p><p>For his part, the President of Qassim University expressed his happiness at the patronage of His Highness the Governor of Qassim Region for this celebration, noting that His Highness provides the university with all support and encouragement, which is not surprising from His Highness. He pointed to the happiness of the graduates and their joy at His Highness attending their graduation and success ceremony, and their determination to be building blocks for this generous nation, and their aspiration to contribute to the development march of their homeland with all pride and honor.<\/p><p>Al-Sharih said: \u201cThe university celebrates the graduation of male and female students and is proud of them. I offer you all congratulations and blessings today. On this day, you reap the rewards of your hard work and diligence over university years, through which you gained knowledge and skills. You participated in activities and experiences until you achieved your goals and reached your desires. We expect you to be good role models in your society, united with your leaders against those who tamper with and incite against your homeland and your leaders, as you are the backbone of this nation's development and progress.\u201d.<br>\nHis Excellency the Dean of Admissions and Registration, Professor Dr. Abdulrahman Abu Al-Haj, affirmed that Qassim University is a fertile ground for distinguished and creative individuals, and each year it graduates an elite group of male and female students after the university has prepared them to carry the trust of serving their religion and their country. He pointed out that the total number of male and female graduates this year reached 12,125, including 3,254 male graduates and 6,638 female graduates in 62 bachelor's degree programs and 29 diploma programs. The number of postgraduate graduates reached 274 male and female graduates for the doctoral degree and 713 male and female graduates for the master's degree in 86 programs.<\/p><p>The graduates Azzam Al-Harbi and Nawaf Al-Dubeiyan delivered a speech on behalf of the twenty-second graduating class of the university. They emphasized that Qassim University was not just a transit point, but a great edifice and a stimulating environment that provided them with knowledge and prepared them to move forward towards a bright future. They thanked God Almighty for His blessings, favors, and guidance. They also expressed their gratitude to the inspiring leadership for clearing the paths of knowledge and opening its doors to them.<\/p><p>The graduates of the 22nd batch, in their speech, thanked the university, affirming that it is a towering edifice from whose halls and classrooms they graduated, and their affiliation with this university and their pride in being graduates of Qassim University will remain with them throughout their lives. They also thanked their fathers and mothers who were their support and role models, and who endured much hardship and sleepless nights to reach this day.<\/p><p>These graduation celebrations for female students will continue on Thursday and Friday, February 20-21, 2025.
