The university won three bronze medals at the 50th edition of the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva. The university participated in the exhibition with over 1000 inventions from 35 countries. The exhibition took place in Switzerland from April 9-13, 2025.
The award-winning innovative projects for the bronze medals included the innovation of a lightweight nanocomposite material for hard hats, as well as the innovation of a machine for washing and drying dates, and the innovation of a drone for date harvesting.<\/p>
The university participated in the exhibition for the third time, as part of the Ministry of Education delegation, which this year included 161 inventors from 38 educational institutions, competing in 13 scientific and innovative fields. The goal was to enhance the university's role in supporting the research and development system, enable its researchers to engage in international competition, and keep pace with global scientific advancements.<\/p>
The university's pavilion at the exhibition showcased a number of innovations developed by faculty members in vital fields such as industry and agriculture. Through this participation, the university seeks to highlight the efforts of its innovation ecosystem, open windows for knowledge collaboration with international entities, and display a number of qualitative innovations and patents that reflect the university's ambition and align with the Kingdom's vision in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.<\/p><\/p>
