The Qassim University platform is provided in accordance with the regulations and statutes in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without any express or implied warranties of any kind. Accordingly, the university disclaims any liability related to:
Accuracy and correctness of the information published on the platform.
The effectiveness of the procedures followed in protecting information from intrusion or unauthorized access.
\u2022 Platform continuity or validity of its content at all times.
\u2022 Appropriateness of published content for user needs or aspirations.
\u2022 Ensure that the university's communication channels or the systems used are free of viruses or any other harmful elements.<\/p>\n

Qassim University disclaims any legal liability for any direct or indirect losses or damages that may result from the use of any of its digital channels, including, but not limited to: the website, email, call center, instant messaging, or university accounts on social media platforms.<\/p>\n

The Qassim University platform and its sub-sites may include links to external websites or platforms that may use different data protection and privacy policies and procedures than those adopted by the university. Accordingly, the university assumes no responsibility for the content of those sites or their data protection and privacy practices. Therefore, it is advised to review the privacy policies of those sites before using them.<\/p>\n

The IP addresses of visitors to the Qassim University platform are collected automatically and used for the purpose of diagnosing technical problems at the technical infrastructure level, in addition to preparing statistical analyses of usage patterns with the aim of developing and improving the quality of services provided.<\/p>\n

Accordingly, your use of Qassim University's platform is at your own risk, and the university shall not be liable in any way for any losses or damages of any kind that may result from your use or visit to Qassim University's platform, or your reliance on any content, statement, advertisement, or opinion published therein. This includes, but is not limited to, any delay or disruption in operation, communication problems, technical malfunctions of devices, software, or any behavior or content from third parties. Consequently, you acknowledge and agree that the most appropriate and direct action for any resulting damage or loss is to stop using the platform and not continue to do so.
Antivirus protection
Qassim University takes great care to inspect and test the contents of its electronic platform and makes every effort to ensure it is free from viruses or malicious software. However, we recommend that users activate and continuously update their antivirus protection programs and scan all files downloaded from the internet. The university shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to data or devices, including computers or any other browsing device, as a result of connecting to this platform or downloading or using any content available through it.<\/p>\n

Waiver of Claims<\/h4>\n

Qassim University provides its electronic platform and its contents as they are and as available, including the services, information, and materials it offers, without any express or implied warranties of any kind, including, but not limited to, warranties of usability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the content will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of malicious software. The University shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages or losses that may result from the use of these channels or reliance on their contents or on linked websites, whether the University is aware of it or not. Furthermore, any communications or data sent through this platform are not considered the user's private property, and the University does not guarantee their confidentiality, and they may be handled in accordance with the relevant regulations and instructions. Any waiver by the University of the exercise of any right specified in this policy, in a particular instance, shall be considered a limited waiver and shall not be construed as a permanent waiver or one that extends to other instances.<\/p>\n

Compensation<\/h4>\n

Accordingly, you acknowledge that you will not take any legal or administrative action against Qassim University or any of its departments, and you commit to compensating and indemnifying it from any liability, including any entity or employee responsible for managing, maintaining, updating, or providing the Qassim University electronic platform.
