Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n

Qassim University considers the privacy of its users' personal data a top priority. The objective of this policy is to provide clear guidelines and procedures for accessing health information, while maintaining the confidentiality and security of the information, in accordance with the highest standards followed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. .<\/p>\n

2. Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

This policy applies to all individual requests to access their academic or personal information that is produced or processed through the University's electronic platforms. This includes academic information, academic records, research data, and faculty information.<\/p>\n

\u2022 The provisions of this policy do not apply to the following protected information:<\/p>\n

Information the disclosure of which would harm the national security, policy, interests, or rights of the state.<\/p>\n

2. Information that includes recommendations, suggestions, or consultations for the issuance of legislation or government decisions that have not yet been issued.<\/p>\n

3. Military and Security Information.<\/p>\n

4. Commercial, industrial, financial, or economic information, the disclosure of which would lead to illicit profit or loss.<\/p>\n

5. Information related to tenders, bids, and auctions the disclosure of which would prejudice fair competition.<\/p>\n

6. Confidential or personal information under another system, or requiring specific system procedures for access or acquisition.<\/p>\n

7. Information and protected documents obtained by agreement with another country.<\/p>\n

Acceptance of the Digital Information Access Policy:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Your entry into and use of Qassim University's online platforms constitutes your acknowledgment and agreement to abide by the terms and conditions of this policy.

\u2022 The Information Access Policy is subject to the requirements of all applicable systems and laws in the Kingdom.<\/p>\n

3. Steps to Access Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n

For students:<\/strong>
Self-Service: Students can access their essential academic information such as grades, class schedules, and attendance records through the student portal.
Detailed Access: In case additional information or detailed reports are needed, students can submit a formal request specifying the type of information required and the purpose for obtaining it.<\/p>\n

For Faculty and Researchers:<\/strong>
\u2022 Access to Research Data: Faculty and researchers can request access to specific research data by submitting a formal application detailing the research and the importance of accessing this information.
\u2022 Review and Approval: Applications are reviewed by an academic committee to ensure compliance with the university's academic and ethical policies.<\/p>\n

For administrators and employees:<\/strong>
\u2022 Access to Employment Records: Administrative employees can access their employment and personal records through the employee portal, with procedures in place to protect the confidentiality of information.<\/p>\n

4. Changes and Updates:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Qassim University reserves the right to amend or update this policy as needed. Users will be notified of changes through periodic updates on online platforms.<\/p>\n
