What is the National Unified Admission Platform?
It is the first national reference for information and services related to unified electronic admission for all male and female students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and is the specialized source for facilitating the application and admission processes for universities and students. The platform currently includes the ability to apply to public universities and the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training. What are the general conditions for admission and which categories are eligible to apply through the National Unified Admission Platform?
There are requirements that must be met by all male and female students who have the right to apply in the National Unified Admission Platform, as follows:
1. Nationality and identity requirements
- The student must be of Saudi nationality, or from a Saudi mother or the mother of Saudi children
2. Qualification requirements
- The student must have completed the third grade of secondary school or be expected to graduate before the start of admission, and registered in the Noor system (note that they have the right to enter and fill in the desires, and are not entitled to apply until after obtaining the secondary qualification)
- The student must have obtained the secondary qualification in previous years (note that some specializations may require the student to be a recent graduate in the same year of admission).
- The student must have obtained the IELTS score for some specializations.
3- Fitness and health requirements
- The student must be medically fit to apply for the specializations of health tracks, physical education, and motor activity.
4. Working conditions
- If you are employed by an organization, you must provide a statement of no objection from your employer to enroll in the university.
- A government employee must bring a dispatch letter from the Ministry of Human Resources, not from their employer.
- A military employee must bring a letter of dispatch from the General Directorate of Human Resources of the ministry to which he is attached, not from his employer.
Can resident students apply?
Resident students cannot apply through the Unified Admission Platform, but they can apply through Study in Saudi Arabia.
What documents are required to submit a new application?
The National Unified Admission Platform does not require uploading documents when applying, as all documents are pulled from the relevant authorities, but some technical support tickets may require documents to prove exceptions or the applicant's identity.
Is there a minimum GPA required to apply?
The GPA is based on the academic standards described in the details of each major, so there may be a minimum threshold in some majors as described in the requirements of each major.
