The University Medical City has announced its need to fill a number of medical and health jobs with qualified national cadres in several specialties on the self-employment program, as receiving applications for those wishing to fill these jobs electronically begins today, Tuesday, August 11, 2020, and the application continues until Friday, August 21, 2020.
The required medical positions varied, including: Consultant physician in anesthesia, intensive care, general surgery, general internal medicine, gastroenterology, and cardiology, as well as deputy physician in the following specialties: Anesthesia, Intensive Care, General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Laboratory (Blood Bank, Clinical Pathology, Hematology), Orthopedics, General Internal Medicine, and Emergency, in addition to the positions of General Physician in: Medicine and Surgery with one year of experience, as these positions require the attachment of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties classification in the same field and a valid professional registration card.
The advertised health jobs include: A laboratory specialist with a bachelor's degree in the specialty with one year of experience in (hematology, histology, microbiology), a pharmacist with a bachelor's degree in the specialty with one year of experience, a radiologist with a bachelor's degree in the specialty with one year of experience in radiology (Magnetic, CT, Ultrasound), in addition to the position of Emergency Medical Services Specialist, requiring a bachelor's degree in the specialty with one year of experience, and Medical Sterilization Specialist, requiring a bachelor's degree in the specialties (biology, microbiology, biotechnology, physics, chemistry, biochemistry) with one year of experience.
As well as the position of physiotherapist, respiratory therapist, health informatics specialist, health management specialist, medical devices specialist, nursing specialist and therapeutic nutrition specialist, and these positions require a bachelor's degree in the specialty with one year of experience, and the position of dental assistant, which requires a bachelor's degree in the following disciplines: Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, in addition to a dental assistant program from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties with one year of experience, Physiotherapist, requiring a bachelor's degree in the specialty with one year of experience, Medical Sterilization Technician, and Medical Secretary, requiring a diploma in the specialty with one year of experience.
The university also clarified the conditions for filling the health positions: The applicant must have the required qualification with a grade of not less than good, and the experience must be consistent with the job title, attach the classification of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties in the same field and a valid professional registration card, and attach the English language test score according to the equation shown below, except for those who obtained their scientific qualification from an English-speaking country:
1) STEP with a minimum score of 75 for specialists and a minimum score of 67 for technicians.
2) IELTS with a minimum score of 5.5 for specialists and a minimum score of 5 for technicians.
3) TOEFL Internet-based (IBT) with a minimum score of 53 for specialists and a minimum score of 51 for technicians.
4) TOEFL Paper-based (PBT) with a minimum score of 475 for specialists and a minimum score of 466 for technicians.
