His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Prof. Khaled bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, inaugurated the activities of the Career Day on Wednesday morning, 15/7/1435 AH, in the lobby of the College of Economics and Administration with the participation of 30 institutions representing the public and private sectors, offering more than 200 jobs in various fields and specializations.
The two-day Career Day exhibition is accompanied by a program of lectures and personal interviews from the participating entities for recruitment.
His Excellency cut the ribbon of the exhibition and toured its corners, honoring the sponsors and participants of the exhibition, stressing that the university organizes the Career Day annually as part of its mission to educate university graduates and introduce them to job search mechanisms, resume preparation, interview procedures, and professional qualification. In addition to familiarizing graduates with the career opportunities available at the participating organizations.
His Excellency thanked the participants in the Career Day exhibition and the accompanying events, including lectures, workshops and the accompanying exhibition, and praised the efforts of all those who contributed to the organization of the Career Day events.
The UQU Vice President for Planning, Development and Quality, Prof. Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, pointed out that the university is keen to hold the Career Day to serve its male and female students, pointing out that the events achieve a number of objectives, including raising the awareness of university graduates, educating them and introducing them to effective ways to search for work, preparing a resume, interview procedures, and professional qualification,

Dr. Al-Yahya also pointed out that the university is keen to keep abreast of the renewed and evolving needs required by employers and to help new students choose the appropriate specialization according to the established standards prevailing in the labor market and the personal criteria of each student.
For his part, the Dean of the College of Economics and Administration expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the UQU President and his Vice President for Planning, Development and Quality for his care and interest in everything that would serve the university students, pointing out that they invited former university graduates in order to communicate with them and check on their future career and working life, pointing out that about 30 companies have been targeted to attract university graduates, expressing his thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to the organization of these important events.
