The visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz to Al-Qassim region comes as an extension of the royal visits that represent one of the features of the administration of governance in this blessed country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where the founder King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud - may God bless him - established this approach, followed by his sons, until the king's visit to the regions, meeting with the people, and closely examining the needs of citizens became a habitual matter that reflects the deep relationship between the leadership and the people in our dear country, the home of the message and the cradle of revelation.
Since assuming the reins of government and announcing Vision 2030, which represents a qualitative leap in Saudi development plans, King Salman has been keen to enshrine the methodology of developmental balance between the Kingdom's regions, emphasizing the comprehensiveness of development programs for all regions, working to exploit competitive advantages and promote economic growth in each region, create job opportunities and employment, develop the business sector, and develop the social and developmental services system in each region, relying on his rich and exemplary experience through his proximity to his brother kings and his sharing with them strategic plans and political and economic decisions.
This auspicious visit by the King to Qassim carries many positive connotations and indicators related to development and development, as it comes in the midst of implementing the projects of the National Transformation Program, which is one of the programs of Vision 2030. It also comes after the announcement of the indicators of the next fiscal year's budget, which will be the largest budget in the Kingdom's history, and after the results of the economic reforms implemented by the Kingdom during this year, represented by the increase in non-oil revenues in the general budget of the state, citizens have seen at this stage of the National Transformation Program the government's efficiency
The visit also comes within the framework of direct supervision and continuous follow-up of the development projects and programs that are being established in the region, and to identify obstacles and difficulties facing their implementation.
The university, as one of the tributaries of development in this region, is celebrating the inauguration of 33 projects estimated to cost more than 3 billion, of which 28 projects will be inaugurated and five projects will be inaugurated.
The feelings of joy and delight experienced by the people of Qassim region, led by His Royal Highness the Emir of the region, Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Deputy Emir, Prince Fahd bin Turki bin Faisal bin Turki bin Abdulaziz, with the visit of the leader of our march King Salman to the region, reflects the size of the relationship between the leaders of this country and its people.
